A Marine Atlantic passenger ferry finally broke free of pack ice off
Cape Breton on Thursday, after a Canadian coast guard icebreaker helped
clear the way. It had been trapped in the ice since Tuesday, prompting at least one serious anxiety attack that resulted in a really dramatic air rescue.
